Nixon grew up in American Samoa, surrounded by family, culture, and the comfort of homemade food. As a little boy, he told his mom that one day he would open a pastry business in honor of her. Years later, that childhood promise is finally becoming real.

When Nixon met Alexa in October 2025, he shared that dream with her and she immediately wanted to support him in chasing it. What began as baking together in the kitchen turned into something bigger when people kept asking where they could order their pastries.

Some of our recipes have been passed down through generations. A few of our pastries are inspired by Alexa’s Great Grandma Jackson and are made with the same love, care, and intention they were originally created with. Baking them now feels like honoring our family history while sharing it with others.

Manuia Pastries is more than just pastries to us. It is built on love, culture, family, and a dream we are building together. Every pastry we bake carries our roots, our journey, and the heart of generations who came before us. Thank you for supporting us and our dream.
